Australian software gives a boost to Thai hospital

On the first anniversary of the installation of Australian software at Srinagarind Hospital, HE Mr Paul Robilliard, Australia’s Ambassador to Thailand visited the hospital within the Faculty of Medicine at Khon Kaen University.

HE Mr Paul Robilliard learnt first-hand about the benefits of the CloudMed Hospital Information System developed by Telstra Health, in collaboration with its local partner, Convergence Systems. The software has provided Cloud-enabled solutions to increase the efficacy and effectiveness of the hospital’s operations. This will assist it to be internationally-recognised by the Joint Commission International (JCI).

Telstra is one of Australia's leading telecommunications and information services companies and in October 2014, launched its new electronic health business unit, Telstra Health. It currently has 14 innovative e-health brands in its portfolio, including CloudMed and aims to cater to the emerging needs of the region’s ageing populations by using technology to offer better medical care.
 

                                                                       

Australian Ambassador visits Srinagarind Hospital: HE Mr Paul Robilliard, Australia’s Ambassador to Thailand, and delegates, recently visited Srinagarind Hospital and were met by Associate Professor Charnchai Panthongviriyakul, MD, Dean, Faculty of Medicine, and Associate Professor Apichat Jiravuttipong, MD, Associate Dean for Hospital Affairs and Director of Srinagarind Hospital.
