Australia’s COVID-19 vaccinations are being rolled out domestically to people in Australia. These vaccinations will only be available in Australia.
The Thai government has confirmed that vaccinations will be provided to everybody, including foreigners, who are resident in Thailand. The vaccination program will target specific groups in phases.
Australians in the Bangkok or Pattaya areas who are currently aged 60 and above, or have specific underlying health conditions, can register for a vaccine via the Department of Disease Control’s website ThailandIntervac.com.
Other provinces may have their own vaccination arrangements in place. We will provide further details of Thailand’s vaccination program as confirmed information becomes available. Please do not contact the Embassy to register for a vaccine as we are not involved in this process.
Please note that the Australian Government cannot provide advice on the safety, quality and efficacy of vaccines that have been approved for use outside of Australia’s regulatory process. You should consult your local health professional for further advice on vaccine options.
