AUSTRALIAN MOVIE - ‘RED DOG’
Red Dog is an awards-winning Australian movie produced by Nelson Woss. The movie is based on a legendary true story of a hitchhiking hound that united a remote mining community while roaming the Australian outback in search of his long lost master in the 1970’s.
The film won several awards including the 2011 Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA) Awards for Best Film, the Australian Film Institute (AFI) Member's Choice Award, and Grand Prize Award for Best Narrative Feature at the Heartland Film Festival 2011. Red Dog was 2011’s top-grossing film in Australia.
