The Embassy provides in-person passport and notarial services in Chiang Mai by appointment, as per the schedule below.

The Australian Embassy Thailand will be conducting in person passport and notarial services in Chiang Mai by appointment only as follows: 

Date: 1 April 2026

Time: 08:30 – 16:30 

Venue: Excursion Room, Chiang Mai Marriott Hotel

Please note, all fees must be paid by debit card or credit card only. Cash is NOT accepted. 

 

 Australian Passports by mail

If eligible, you can now renew your passport by mail.

• You are not required to send in your existing passport through the post
• You can still travel on your existing passport while your new passport is being processed
• When your new passport is ready, we will mail it to you by registered post
