HE James Wise, Australian Ambassador to Thailand, recently presided over the launch of Australian Pink Lady TM apples, at Central Food Hall, CentralWorld.
Originally bred in Australia, the Pink Lady TM apple is currently one of the most popular apples in Europe. Thai consumers can now experience the distinctive pink blush, sweet flavour and crisp texture of Pink Lady TM apples available at Top markets and Central Food Hall.
It takes 200 days of meticulous care to produce a Pink Lady TM apple and only the very best pass the rigorous inspection tests to receive the Pink Lady TM classification. The pink heart-shaped sticker on a Pink Lady TM apple is therefore a symbol of authenticity and quality.
Packed with goodness, Pink Lady TM apples are a natural source of energy and good health. An average 100g Pink Lady TM apple contains about 50 calories, making it a perfect ingredient or snack for a healthy lifestyle.
The launch of Pink Lady TM apples in Thailand was facilitated by Australian Trade Commission and Department of Primary Industries Victoria which aim to share Australia’s top quality produce with Thai people.
