Press Release 2019 - ELP recipients

         Awards ceremony of 2019 Endeavour Leadership Program recipients

 

On 21 May 2019 HE Mr Allan McKinnon, Australian Ambassador to Thailand hosted an awards ceremony to congratulate the 2019 Endeavour Leadership Program (ELP) recipients and their families.

The ELP is the Australian Government’s two way mobility program for short and long term study, research and professional development with Australia’s priority partner countries.

Three outstanding Thai scholars have been awarded the ELP in 2019.  The three awardees are

  • Dr Sasitorn Aueviriyavit, Senior Researcher at National Nanotechnology Center (NANOTEC), has awarded the Endeavour Cheung Kong Research Leadership Award to conduct a research at the University of Technology Sydney.
  • Asst Prof Dr Siriluk Jaisue, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Khon Kaen University, has awarded Endeavour Executive Leadership Award to undertake professional development at the University of Queensland.
  • Ms Puchida Methnimith, Former Business Development officer at Mitr Phol Bio Fuel Co.,Ltd. has awarded Endeavour VET Leadership Award to study at the Shafston House College, Brisbane.

 “I am delighted that you have chosen to study in Australia. The personal and professional linkages you forge during your study programs will be invaluable as you move forward in your careers. I hope that you will return to Thailand not only with new skills and education qualifications, but also with a greater understanding of Australian culture and life that will help strengthen the ongoing ties between our two countries and support Thailand’s important role as a leader in South-East Asia.” Ambassador McKinnon said.
