AUSTRALIAN GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIPS OPEN FOR APPLICATION
Students, researchers and professionals are invited to apply

The Endeavour Scholarships and Fellowships (formerly Endeavour Awards), the Australian Government’s internationally competitive scholarship program, is open for applications from Thai citizens from 1 April to 30 June 2013 for study commencing in 2014.

The Endeavour Scholarships and Fellowships provide opportunities for citizens of the Asia-Pacific, Middle East, Europe and the Americas to undertake study, research and professional development in Australia. The Awards are also available for Australians to do the same in selected countries.

There are four main types of Endeavour Scholarships and Fellowships;

• Endeavour Postgraduate Scholarship (Master’s degree or PhD)

• Endeavour Vocational Education and Training (VET) Scholarship (Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Associate Degree)

• Endeavour Research Fellowship (4-6 month research in Australia towards a Master’s degree, PhD or Postdoctoral research in home country)

• Endeavour Executive Fellowship ( 1-4 month professional development)

Since its inception in 2007, 119 Thai scholars have been granted Endeavour Scholarships and Fellowships.

The Endeavour Scholarships and Fellowships are a part of the Australia Awards initiative, which brings together the international development scholarships administered by the Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID) and the Endeavour Awards administered by the Department of Industry, Innovation, Climate Change, Science, Research and Tertiary Education (DIICCSRTE) under a single recognisable brand. The Australia Awards aim to promote knowledge, education links and enduring ties between Australia and our neighbours.
